Professional Journey
Project Leadership
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of leading large-scale industrial and technical teams across global sites. Whether restoring a critical furnace, coordinating emergency tower repairs, or guiding contractors through tight turnarounds, the work has always been about more than just drawings and codes—it’s been about people, trust, and presence in the field.

Engineering & Site Execution
My foundation is mechanical systems—pressure vessels, piping, and heat exchangers—but my strength lies in translating engineering intent into safe, buildable solutions. From design reviews and procurement follow-up to fabrication oversight, field installation, and commissioning, I thrive in the balance between office precision and site reality.

Notable Projects
Tower & Furnace Restorations
Leading urgent field responses taught me the value of quick coordination and clear communication. These projects weren’t just about equipment—they were about protecting people and production.
Pipeline Facilities Expansion
Major terminals and pump stations showed me the importance of collaboration across disciplines, from design engineers to field crews.
Process Plant Upgrades
Working brownfield tie-ins and shutdowns reinforced the discipline of planning down to the smallest detail, so teams could execute safely and efficiently.
Teaching & Mentoring
Engineering has always been about people as much as projects.
- As an APEGA mentor for over 10 years, I’ve helped engineers navigate licensing, career transitions, and cultural adaptation.
- As a professor, I discovered the impact of translating complex ideas into clear lessons.
- Through Mujeres Omega Foundation, I design and deliver workshops on STEM, emotional intelligence, and psychological safety.
- As a Distinguished Toastmaster, I’ve honed communication and leadership skills that shape the way I guide project teams.

Personal Perspective
Engineering, for me, is about building both systems and communities. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, comfortable in diverse environments, and driven by challenges that demand both technical rigor and human leadership.
