Why Catalyst Exists
I created Catalyst after navigating years of high-pressure projects, cultural transitions, burnout, loss, remote work, and leadership experiences that challenged everything I believed about “success.”
I learned this:

Mairim Neves, P.Eng. — Engineer, Mentor & Creator of The Catalyst Blueprint™ and the Catalyst Workbook
After over two decades leading global teams through complexity and change, I realized leadership had become too mechanical — too focused on deliverables, not people.
I’ve led through shutdowns, relocations, and restructures; I’ve coached teams across cultures and time zones; and I’ve seen brilliant people burn out because humanity was missing from the work.
Catalyst began as my way back — a blueprint to rebuild leadership from the inside out.
It combines everything I’ve learned from project execution, mentoring, and emotional intelligence to help leaders rediscover the human side of high performance.
Today, I teach and speak about emotional intelligence, psychological safety, and inclusive leadership through The Catalyst Blueprint™, sharing tools that make leadership not only more effective — but more human.
