Just Me

From leading complex projects to mentoring the next generation of engineers, my professional journey continues to evolve — always grounded in purpose, people, and possibility.

Family and Relationships

Being a mother, wife, and daughter is at the heart of who I am. Balancing family life with professional and creative pursuits keeps me grounded and grateful. Family gives meaning to every success and perspective to every challenge.

Avid Traveler

Travel is an integral part of my life. Whether exploring new destinations with my husband or visiting family across the United States, Venezuela, and Europe, I find deep joy in the process of planning, exploring, and experiencing new places. Every trip reminds me that curiosity fuels creativity.

Founder of Mujeres Omega Foundation

I am the founder of the Mujeres Omega Foundation, a nonprofit organization based in Canada dedicated to empowering Hispanic women. Through this work, I design programs, events, and initiatives that foster leadership, emotional well-being, and professional growth. This foundation represents one of my proudest legacies — a community built on connection and purpose.

Interviewer and Virtual Event Host

I host interviews with inspiring Latina women and produce virtual conventions for Mujeres Omega. These events, featured on my YouTube channel, showcase the stories and achievements of women who lead, create, and uplift their communities. Every interview is a reminder that storytelling is one of the most powerful tools for change.

Mentorship and Volunteering

Since 2015, I’ve served as a mentor with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), guiding aspiring engineers as they navigate their careers and build confidence in the profession. I’ve also volunteered with the Science Olympics, encouraging young students to explore science and engineering with curiosity and joy.
In previous years, I led United Way fundraising campaigns at my workplace — initiatives that strengthened both community and teamwork.
Today, I dedicate most of my volunteer efforts to the Mujeres Omega Foundation while continuing to support APEGA’s outreach and mentorship programs.

Contributions to Engineers Canada

I was honored to be recognized as an EDI Champion by Engineers Canada in 2021. As a panelist, I contributed to discussions on equity, diversity, and inclusion in engineering workplaces, advocating for systemic changes to create more inclusive and equitable environments.

Digital Design Enthusiast

In recent years, I’ve discovered a deep passion for digital design — creating advertising campaigns, social media content, websites, and landing pages through Canva. This creative outlet evolved into BalanceFEM, my own marketing and design venture, where I blend creativity, communication, and technology to bring ideas to life. It’s where my love for strategy meets storytelling.
