Not all therapy looks like sitting across from a professional with a notebook.
For many women, traditional therapy can feel distant, even intimidating. But in a salt chamber — amber light glowing, walls radiating calm, air infused with minerals — something shifts. Barriers fall. Voices open. Stories flow.
That’s what I witnessed during our recent Mujeres Omega Foundation workshop. It wasn’t about presentations or agendas. It was about presence. Women shared stories of migration, resilience, careers, families, and healing. The salt chamber wasn’t just a backdrop — it was a catalyst.
- Storytelling became medicine.
- Networking became community.
- Community became strength.
And here’s what it taught me: leadership isn’t only about what we say. It’s about the environments we create.
In a salt chamber, people naturally soften their voices, slow their breathing, and listen more deeply. Reflection feels natural. Connection happens almost without effort. Imagine if our workplaces, meetings, and projects were designed with that same intention.
Do people feel safe to speak up?
Do they leave lighter, clearer, more grounded?
Are we shaping spaces — physical and emotional — where trust and collaboration thrive?

As a leader and founder of Mujeres Omega Foundation, I believe in creating spaces that are unconventional yet powerful. Because stillness is not a luxury — it’s a foundation. For healing, for teams, for communities.
Sometimes leadership lessons don’t come from boardrooms or construction sites. They come from places as unexpected as a salt chamber.
